Clinton

For those of you who do not know, Clinton, by brother left for Iraq last Saturday. It really sucks to think that he is over there. I have faith that everything is going to be okay, though. I guess that's all I can really do is pray and have faith!! I miss that little shithead!!
He can request two weeks of leave while he's there. They don't always get it, but it can still be requested. Anyways...he has requested the week of my wedding and the week after. I really hope that he will be able to come home for the wedding. He is scheduled to be in Iraq for a year and I would really love him to see me get married!
Tiffany and Sammy are coming home (from Germany) for the wedding for sure. Sammy is going to be the flower girl.

Anyways...no new progress on wedding stuff.

I will update later!!

Big Toe Disease

Okay so I have a confession fo make...I have really large big toes. I used to get a hard time from all of my girlfriends in high school about it. As a matter of fact one of my good friends Christina had a dream about it once. She was swimming laps in a pool and when she came up to take a breath my toes were hanging over the pool, she grabbed my big toe on each foot to pull herself out of the pool.
Anyways...no one has said much about my toes....

UNTIL TODAY!!!

I wore flip flops today...I know! It's 30 degrees outside and I wore flip-flops!!! Anyways I have worn flip-flops before but nobody ever paid any attention until today. I'm walking around the office trying to gather things around and I hear my boss say...Oh my gosh, your big toes are huge, they are so long. And he goes on and on and on. Since then as I am walking around the office I have noticed that everyone is checking out my toes.

Please think of me the next time you are staring at someones abnormalties!!!
(So now those of you that have not seen my toes and probably thinking they are really really big and long. They aren't!! I don't know why everyone makes a big deal about it. I would post a picture, but I don't have one and I don't know how to get my pictures on my cell phone to the internet!!)

From one big toe to the next.

1 step at a time

Okay so I spent some time with my grandma last week. I was very stressed out about planning the wedding. She told me that I need to take it one step at a time. Instead of thinking of everything that needs to be done, just concentrate on 2 things at a time. Well the two things that I picked last week to concentrate on were the honeymoon, picking it out and booking it, and transportation from the church to the reception.

Well her advice paid off. We booked the honeymoon last night. We both decided on a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Our cabin is called A Safari Sunrise!! I can't wait. It will be so great. We also decided that instead of being traditional like everyone else and getting a limo we wanted to book the trolley! This way we can have the wedding party and their significant others come pre-partying with us! I'm very excited that things are coming along so much easier now.
Next step...finalizing the guest list and picking out invitations.

Slacker

So I am at work bored out of my mind. I suppose I should be working huh? Well instead of working I decide to look up places to go on me and Derek's honeymoon. We decided that we do not want to go to a beach so we talked about maybe going to Tennessee and getting a cabin...well look what I found.

http://www.smokymtncabins.com/
Go here and then click on 1 Bedroom. Once there click on A safari Sunrise. Then sit back and enjoy.

Isn't it beautiful. Now I just need to make sure Derek loves it as much as me...And then get him to pay, LOL!!!

OMGoodness I did it too!

I can't believe this, thanks jen. I was just going to sign up so that I could leave comments to you on your blog, but then I decided what the heck! So here I am...with nothing to say!

Check back later!!
